The "Swiss Army Knife" of Kayak Fishing
Kayakjak does a walkthrough of his fully outfitted Hobie Outback
When I started kayak fishing nearly 30 years ago the only items I brought with me were a paddle, PFD, pliers, fishing rod, and a few lures. Things were very simple back then! As time went on I would add more accessories to be more efficient on the water. This took many years before what you see here in this video.
Most of the time I still keep things very simple only bringing out 2-3 rods, a few lures, pliers, a towel, and the most important, a PFD which I wear 100% of the time for safety. The video explains a fully outfitted fishing machine that I use mainly in tournament fishing. Also, I would like to add that most accessories are attached with a Robohawk leash for safety. An angler can get by with a lot less but this shows you a lot of the bells and whistles you can use to have more success on the water.
If you ever need advice or help in outfitting your kayak just send me a message and I’ll be glad to help you out! You can also book a guided trip to learn even more!
