Burchard Lake is a well known Southeast Nebraska Lake that holds some giant bass in its depths. The mid summer bite is a bit different from the spring or fall from what I’ve observed in the kayak on my June, July, and August outings. Many of the bass migrate to a good number of brush piles and main points throughout the lake.
